Darabara Business Ltd is a mobile childcare provider. We are not a recruitment agency.

Our Nannies and Babysitters are Darabara employees who are deployed to family homes to deliver our childcare service.

We currently have an opportunity for a caring and motivated Nanny/Babysitter to join our team and provide one-to-one childcare for a child in Wolverhampton.

THE DARABARA APPROACH

Darabara provides childcare for children and young people from birth to 17 years.

Our staff use our structured childcare curriculum to provide more than basic supervision. Activities and routines are used to help children develop important skills appropriate to their age and individual needs.

These include communication, learning, physical development, emotional wellbeing, creativity, independence, positive relationships and everyday life skills.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

You will:

• Provide safe and attentive one-to-one childcare

• Plan activities appropriate to the child’s age and development

• Deliver activities from the Darabara childcare curriculum

• Support learning through play

• Support homework and educational activities where appropriate

• Encourage communication, confidence and independence

• Provide suitable indoor and outdoor experiences

• Support the child’s established routines

• Prepare appropriate meals/snacks where required

• Undertake school/nursery drop-offs or collections where required

• Maintain appropriate records of activities and care

• Communicate with the family and Darabara management

• Follow safeguarding, confidentiality and health and safety procedures

THE PERSON WE NEED

We are looking for someone who is:

✓ Caring and patient

✓ Reliable and punctual

✓ Comfortable working independently in a family home

✓ Interested in children’s learning and development

✓ Able to communicate professionally

✓ Willing to follow Darabara’s curriculum, policies and procedures

Relevant childcare experience is desirable.

The successful applicant will be employed by Darabara Business Ltd and deployed to the family home as part of our mobile childcare service.
